One platform for the whole laboratory lifecycle
Six capabilities on one data model. The order the laboratory runs is the same record billing bills, the portal shows and analytics measures — which is why the boundaries between them stop generating work.
Everything your laboratory needs. One connected platform.
Adopt all of it, or start with the workflow that hurts most and expand from there.
Laboratory Information System
A complete LIS for orders, specimens, accessioning, testing, results, reporting and the workflow rules that hold them together.
- Test catalog and configuration
- Accessioning and specimen tracking
- Result entry, verification and release
Lab Portal
One digital front door for the providers, clinics and patients your laboratory serves — ordering, documents, tracking and results.
- Provider ordering and result access
- Clinic requisition submission
- Configurable patient access
Billing & RCM
Eligibility, coding, claims, ERA, patient responsibility and accounts receivable connected to the same order the lab is running.
- Eligibility and insurance discovery
- Claim preparation, submission and tracking
- Denials, AR aging and payer analytics
AI Automation
Document AI, extraction, classification and intelligent routing that take repetitive work off your staff — with human review built in.
- OCR and requisition extraction
- Exception detection and routing
- Human-in-the-loop review queues
Integrations
Connect the laboratory to the systems around it: EMRs and EHRs, HL7, FHIR-ready interfaces, reference labs and clearinghouses.
- HL7 messaging workflows
- FHIR-ready architecture
- REST APIs and custom interfaces
Analytics
Operational and financial dashboards built on the same data the laboratory runs on — volume, turnaround time, productivity and revenue.
- Turnaround time and volume
- Billing and AR performance
- Workload and exception queues
Four views of the same work
Orders, accessioning, specimens and turnaround time.

Routing
- In-house312
- Reference74
- Held32
Illustrative interface. Figures are examples, not customer data.
One record, followed all the way through
Select a stage to see what the platform does there and where the automation layer helps.
01Order
A provider places an order.
Orders reach the laboratory through the portal, an EMR interface, an API call, or as a document — a faxed or scanned requisition. All four paths land in the same order queue rather than four separate inboxes.
- Provider
- Ordering provider, NPI and the facility the order came from
- Patient
- Demographics, insurance and prior history if the patient is known
- Tests
- Test selection against your catalog, with CPT and diagnosis codes attached
What the platform does here
- Portal ordering for providers and clinics
- EMR/EHR order interfaces over HL7 or API
- Document intake for faxed and scanned requisitions
- Standing order and recurring order support
Documents are classified and read before a person touches them, so a faxed requisition arrives as a structured draft order.
Multi-tenant by design
Laboratory groups, laboratories, facilities, users, providers and patients each belong to an organization. Access is scoped by role and every cross-organization grant is explicit and logged.
Laboratory group
Group-level catalog, governance and consolidated reporting
Laboratory A
Clinical · 2 facilities
Laboratory B
Molecular · 1 facility
Laboratory C
Toxicology · 3 facilities
Users
Roles scoped per laboratory or across the group
Facilities
Own catalogs, delivery routes and report formats
Providers
Ordering providers with their own preferences
Patients
Records isolated to the organization they belong to
Data is scoped to the organization it belongs to. A user or API consumer authenticated for one laboratory does not receive another laboratory's records, and group-level access that spans laboratories is granted explicitly and logged.
Software. Automation. Laboratory Operations.
The platform is one of three layers. Which one solves a given problem is a distinction we draw explicitly rather than blur.
- Software
The GetLabServices platform
LIS, portals, billing, analytics and integrations built as one system with a shared data model — not modules bolted together after the fact.
Explore the platform - Automation
AI and workflow automation
Document AI, extraction, validation, routing and integrations that remove the repetitive steps between a fax arriving and an order existing.
Explore automation - Services
Managed laboratory operations
Trained operational support for data entry, eFax, results and billing when a laboratory needs capacity rather than another system to run.
Explore services
Connected to the systems around the laboratory
EMR / EHR
Connect laboratory workflows to the clinical systems your ordering providers already use.
HL7
Support for the healthcare messaging workflows most laboratory interfaces still run on.
FHIR
A FHIR-ready architecture for modern healthcare interoperability.
Reference Laboratories
Send orders out and bring results back, mapped to your catalog and reconciled on return.
Clearinghouses
Eligibility, claim submission, status and remittance for the revenue-cycle workflow.
Laboratory Instruments
An architecture that supports instrument connectivity where it is appropriate.
APIs
REST APIs for building against the platform directly.
Every capability carries a status — available, coming soon, or a scoped custom integration. We do not list a connection as live until it is.
Explore integrationsSame laboratory. Different operating model.
Traditional approach
GetLabServices
Order intake
Paper, fax and email handled by whoever is available
Portal, API and document intake feeding one queue
Data entry
Re-keyed into the LIS, then again into billing
Extracted once, validated, reused everywhere downstream
Eligibility
Checked manually, often after testing has started
Checked in the order workflow with exceptions routed to a queue
Billing
A separate system reconciled after the fact
Built from the same order record the laboratory ran
Reference labs
Send-outs tracked in a spreadsheet
Routing rules, send-out tracking and result import
Results delivery
Fax, portal upload and email, tracked by memory
Configured delivery per provider with a delivery record
Visibility
Reports assembled manually when someone asks
Live dashboards for volume, turnaround, AR and exceptions
Growth
More volume means more administrative headcount
Automation and services absorb the repetitive work
